Nebula Aeterna Productions is proud to welcome Siberian titans, Devilgroth to our young roster. "Svyatogor" is 3 years in the making and is well worth the wait. "Svyatogor" checks all the boxes when it comes to what you want to hear in a black metal album, cold, hypnotic riffs, harshened vocals and a thunderous rhythm section, but in typical Devilgroth fashion, it also offers some out of left field tricks that keep the listener engaged. "Svyatogor" is also a psychedelic, relentlessly motorik journey through the blinding snowfields of Siberia.
“The album entitled "Svyatogor", is inspired by the image of the ancient Slavic hero-giant. This hero is from pre-Christian times, and to this day almost nothing is known about him. He lives in the mountains and his strength is so great that the earth collapses under him. This album is not a retelling of epic or accurate history. It is an attempt to transport us through music to a time of which we know nothing. This music is the voice of a mighty giant through the ages. The last hero of his time frozen in stone!”
